People don't want more information. People want love and peace! We want to feel 'all is well’ and to really feel the joy of this.
The most important thing that can happen in your lifetime is that you come to know your Self. I don't mean who you are as a person, a person is not what you are. What you truly are is the light of infinite consciousness and in the deepest recesses of your being you know what I'm talking about.
Let's take the resent eclipse as a metaphor; the sun, represents your Self and the moon your false and limited sense of self, or ego.
Your radiant Self is your eternal Being, and it seems that your limited self temporarily crosses over and covers your Solar Self and acts like a shade placed over a light source.
The Divine Light of our Innermost Being is always perfectly, absolutely radiant. When the ego ‘crosses over’ that Light, it forms the shadow self, the self that thinks itself to be in charge, imagines itself to be ‘who we are,’ indeed imagines itself to have its own reality.
The One Light is Real; all else is shadow - in varying degrees, like the amount of shadow the moon casts as it passes before the sun.
Maybe you take the recent eclipse as an opportunity to see how you may notice the shadow self obstructing the authentic Self, and perhaps to pray that the veils of the mind be lifted, revealing again our True Self and its Natural and Perfect Radiance.
A connection with our Self, a connection with life and a connection with others is what all of us truly want. We want to love and feel loved. We want to know we are safe, cared for, protected and that our lives have some kind of meaning.
Surely there must be something besides striving and waiting for tomorrow or the future for our lives to begin.
