Integrating Shadow

Deep Inner Work, Leading to your Awakening

Apart from an archetypical genetic coding we take on limiting beliefs about ourselves and the world at an early age. Often without realising, these beliefs determine our world view and drive our behaviour. We could call these limiting beliefs shadow aspects.

C.G. Jung and Sigi Freud talked about shadows, they called them unconscious aspects of our psyche.

From my ‘innerstanding’ I would say that there’s nothing that is unconscious. If I look for evidence within my own experience I find that there is only consciousness or awareness, or a knowing presence. It is a matter of focussed awareness, or conscious attention which renders something known.

If something is known, it is also present, we can say that it exists and moves to the foreground of awareness, it stands out or appears within moment to moment awareness. (Existence, present participle of Latin existere ‘stand forth, come out, emerge, appear, be visible, come to light, arise’)

Everything else seems to move to the background of awareness, yet it is still in consciousness. Scientists call that the morphogenetic field. And consciousness is eternally conscious.

It is obvious that any experience arises in, is known by and ultimately made of consciousness. There is nothing outside of consciousness. What would that be?

The movement of the mind, that is thinking and imagining, creates time, just as the movement of perceiving, like seeing and hearing, creates space. Let's call these movements the body/mind.

If your experience is coloured by conflict or upsets you're clearly not at peace. Something has triggered you to react and some form of shadow has become active, you are resisting what shows up and you seek something different.

Essentially a thought rises which says ‘I don’t like that’. Deep inquiry would mean to investigate on who’s behalf that thought arises. Eventually one would come to realise that the thought ‘I don’t like it’ arise on behalf of a non-existent self!

I, awareness, do not know anything separate from myself and therefore do not know the apparently separate self. A separate self is only such from the illusory point of view of a separate self.

Shadows can be triggered by a sense of guilt, shame or regret, which refers to the past, or it can be triggered by fear, worry, anxiety, expectations or attachment to outcomes, which refers to the future.

If you identify as a powerless victim you most likely complain or blame, if your sense of lack and inadequacy is triggered you resist what is and seek what is not, if the belief that you share the limits of the body is triggered, you defend your sense of self out of feeling vulnerable or even attack.

Your real self is unlimited, ever-present awareness, it is your essence, your centre. So when you are not at peace, you are not at your centre, you’re not here and now ... you're not your true self!

We could say that every time you are resisting what appears in the present moment you're in shadow territory and fear is in the driver seat. Every time you’re not connected to this deep seated, unshakeable peace (which passes understanding) reactive patterns drive your behaviour and shape your experience.

It's a limited state of mind, a frequency, a vibrational state. You’re are out of your high vibrational peaceful state and driven by a lower vibrational fearful state.

Most people are on auto-pilot and driven by a lower vibrational fearful state most of the time. This seems to be the human condition and at the same time the mechanism by which we evolve into higher and more inclusive stages or levels of consciousness. Human consciousness grows from First to Second and Third Tier (and beyond) of consciousness.

People who are not awake to their true nature are not aware that they are in reactive mode. They are driven by adopted patterns and are expressing lower frequency states. No judgement here, just an observation. Any frequency has meaning and any stage or level of growth or consciousness has its own frequencies and meaning.

Now, the trick to move into conscious awareness is to practice pausing, breathing deeply and becoming mindful of any reactive shadow patterns. And that's the first step of shadow work.

I believe there needs to be a creative, evolutionary impulse, perhaps out of suffering, collectively and individually, in order to open oneself up to shadow work.

Your real nature is unchanging, timeless and unlimited. That which changes, from moment to moment, is the content of your experience, thoughts, images, feelings, sensations and perceptions.  It is not who you are!

Only that which knows your experience is real, the content of your experience is part of THAT. You are THAT. The I AM. The presence of awareness. We call THAT ‘I’.

It is re-establishing the real cosmic order in our awareness.

Transcending and Including the 3 Main Collective Shadow Aspects through Waking up, Growing up and Showing up!

Waking up - Facing your Challenges through Self Inquiry

Waking up includes shining the light of awareness on the collective shadow of VICTIMHOOD, it is undoing the belief in Powerlessness. Identifying as a powerless victim of circumstances is expressed as the activity of blaming and complaining. We are moving from Victimhood to Freedom! It means transforming shadows, conflicts and upsets.

Growing up - Transforming Suffering through Self Knowing

Growing up includes shining the light of awareness on the collective shadow of SEPARATION, it is undoing the belief in Fragmentation. Trying to relieve a sense of lack and inadequacy is expressed as the activity of resisting and seeking. We are moving from Separation to Oneness! It means moving beyond roles, labels and identifications.

Showing up - Transcending your Dilemma through Self Awareness

Showing up includes shining the light of awareness on the collective shadow of FORGETTING, it is undoing the belief in Materialism. Believing we share the limits and destiny of the body is expressed as the activity of attacking and defending. We are moving from Forgetting to Awakening! It means knowing 'I' as the presence of awareness.

The best service you can render to humanity is to recognise the true nature of your being

I guide you to become aware of the core beliefs that are running your life and take you on a journey of self inquiry, self knowing and self awareness, through a process of reflective and joyful contemplation about your timeless essence, spontaneous awareness and insight.

These spiritual practices serve to cultivate a vibrant awareness of the true nature of our own being, our innate wholeness and worthiness.

Transforming Conflicts, Triggers and Upsets

From Victimhood to Freedom

Let’s face it, we all get triggered and feeling upset from time to time. Getting triggered and feeling upset is a way to learn to live with others and especially with ourselves.

So, you got triggered and are upset. What now?

The truth is that getting triggered and upset is all about ourselves, it’s never about someone else. It is you that feels upset, it is you that got triggered, right?

Sure, you had an experience, and you don’t like what you have seen, heard or experienced, for whatever reason.

Life is confronting you with something in form of an experience, a situation or someone behaving in a certain way. You need to learn to look at your experience in this way; life is providing an opportunity for you to reflect and grow.

To grow and evolve we need to learn how to transform conflicts, triggers and upsets. Otherwise we’re locked in to a seeming endless spiral of suffering. The suffering does not itself guarantee growth, it’s how we deal with our experience.

Our experience is simple the catalyst. In other words, conflicts, triggers and upsets are an opportunity to see yourself for who you truly are.

Your growth shows in two ways. Firstly, you know when you have grown when you realise that certain situations or experiences are no longer a trigger for you. You have evolved into a more harmonious state of consciousness.

Secondly, you have become more mindful, and certain thought forms with their attached feelings and sensations can be present in your awareness without an immediate reaction. You no longer resist ‘what is’ and are not immediately seeking ‘what is not’. You are able to be with ‘what is’ at the moment. It doesn’t mean you need to like it. You have realised that inner resistance veils your equilibrium.

These realisations are a sign for your radical transformation. You are more and more opening your capacity to bring the light of awareness into what was previously un-aware.

You have realised patterns that have previously caused an immediate reaction and now you have replaced it with a response, or no response at all. You have become responsible. Being responsible means you’re able to respond, instead of react.

You are able to take a deep breath, pause for a moment and choose to respond, out of knowing your own being, which is unlimited, ever-present awareness. This is a choice made with awareness, rather being the victim of an un-aware reaction and forgetting who you truly are.

Getting triggered and upset is inevitable, and the more you use it as a welcomed opportunity to grow, the more you will evolve into an awakened being.

You also might want to pay close attention to three key aspects as you practice transforming conflicts, triggers and upsets.

The first aspect is frequency, meaning how often do you experience getting triggered and upset? It is a good indicator of where you are in your progress.

The second aspect is duration, meaning how long does your experience of getting triggered and upset last? Do you hang on to the experience for an hour, a day or even longer? The sooner you can let go of feeling upset, the better for your growth and of course your state of inner peace.

The third aspect is intensity, meaning how high is your level of disturbance, how far are you removed from your centre, your deep seated inner peace? An indicator for your awakening is to realise that you’re not deeply troubled anymore by you reacting to outside circumstances or events.

The more you live in a peaceful inner state, if and when you get triggered into feeling upset, the easier you return to your true nature, which is equilibrium and harmony, knowing your true being.

Tyranny Ends When you Know Your Self

10/8/2022

It seems that the world is run by the cabal, the jesuits, the bankers, the secret societies and royal families. It's not true, the world is run by good people who comply with tyranny.

I hear that often that 'people who comply with tyranny are not good people. That's not true!

People don't know what they don't know and it is only under the powerful influence of toxic authority that people are brainwashed into complicity, and it's happening from birth.

It also seems that, by design, people are caught up in a hamster wheel, the constant struggle to survive in this mad consumer driven society. The majority of people don't realise that they are nothing more than work and debt slaves.

I was once that way on various levels and only by the influence of people who had figured this out was I able to change. My inner rebel and my individual shadow aspect of chaos and my inherent potential of innovation has lead me to investigate the rabbit hole and I learned to listen to my inner guidance.

In fact it is a characteristic of the archetypal narcissist and it's cultural engineers that we are constantly convinced that we are stupid, bad and morally inept people, while posing itself as morally righteous.

Tyranny is in almost everything these days. It is in what we consume in the form of food, medicine, entertainment, products, etc.

We participate in tyranny by paying taxes, wearing masks and partaking in medical experiments, believing in deceptions like religion, germ theory and genetics.

We participate in tyranny by participating in politics and concepts like national and racial identity.
Tyranny is not just the obvious.

However it may be said that the worst form of tyranny, the very root of tyranny, is to refuse to clarify our own shadow aspects and distortion and continue to lay accountability for the evil in the world and in our lives upon another person or group of people.

I call it the collective shadow aspect of Victimhood. It is the unchallenged belief that we as the people are powerless victims of a heartless system, yet this is a reflection of our own forgetting of who we truly are and the blind attachment to the reactive mode of blaming and complaining.

That is how we are ultimately kept under the control of tyranny itself, but when you know who you truly are tyranny ends. 'Know thyself' means realising the role you play on the material plane as well as realising that ultimately what you are is unlimited, ever-present awareness. I call it the outer and the inner awakening, both are important and aspects of the Great Awakening!
